Soccer and Touch-A-Truck

It was soooo beautiful here today! The winter has been great and we especially enjoyed the pretty snow a few short weeks ago, but now it's wonderful to see signs of Spring! Soccer season has begun again, so we were able to go to Evan's first game of the season. It is just so darn cute to watch those little 4 year old out there on the field. Most of the time they have to be reminded which way they are supposed to run, but they really get into it. I don't think Evan is quiet as aggressive with the ball as his Daddy would like for him to be, but he hangs in there. Pressley, of course, loves to cheer him on--that is, until she decides she's seen enough, and wants to go to the playground!

After the game, we rode over to Decatur High School and saw all kinds of trucks on display. They call it " Touch-A-Truck". They had police cars, police motorcycles, firetrucks, garbage trucks, cement trucks, backhoes, etc, etc. The kids had a chance to "drive" the trucks, blow the sirens, and climb into the real firetrucks. They loved it!
