This is how Atlanta looked just about 10 days ago! We were so blessed that we didn't have any flooding personally, but so many did. The above picture shows flooding that occured just 6-7 miles from our house. The picture below is flooding on the expressway.
Even Six Flags was under water!
My heart really goes out to people whose houses were flooded like these. Many are still out of their homes and struggling with major repairs.
Due to the flooding, Evan and Pressley didn't get to go to school, but their Mommy had to go to work at Georgia State. So, we were able to benefit. They love working on the computer, doing crafts, and just hanging out( getting GranNan and Popppy's undivided attention!). And, of course, we love it, too.
