Will and Abby's skating party was a success! It was at "Skate Country" in Buford, and quite a few of their friends showed up, despite the weather. We had pouring rain last night, and still have had a lot today. This is the 2nd year Abby has had weather issues on the day of her party! Last year, there were tornado warnings all around, and her party guests had to stay sequestered in a small room at the Gainesville Children's Museum until the tornado passed by. Thank goodness, it wasn't that bad this year!
After the kids ( and even an aunt, uncle, and one Pappa ) finished skating, there was pizza, cupcakes, and doughnuts for everyone. Will had requested the doughnut cake(pyrimid) and Abby wanted cupcakes, so their sweet Mommy did both!
Then, after all the guests departed, the family resumed the pary at Famous Joe's at Hamilton Mill. It was really loud, but so much fun. There were 17 of us for dinner. Granny even survived all the noise and wildness! But, that was not all. We then went to Beth and David's house to watch The Birthday boy and girl open their presents. Oh, such excitement! Everyone had fun, plenty
